The McLean Lab at UNC-Greensboro is interested in processes that generate landscape- to continental-scale patterns of mammalian biodiversity. Our research focuses on speciation, phylo/genomics, life history evolution, and host-parasite dynamics of mammals, and responses of these systems to past and present environmental change. We address longstanding questions in these arenas of mammalogy using high-resolution genomic, phenotypic, environmental, and digitized biodiversity datasets.
